All Sea Kayak Türkiye bookings, invoices, insurance and legal responsibilities are carried by Discovery Outdoor Ltd.

 

 

 

1. Booking & Payments

 

 

  • All tours depend on availability.

  • Some bookings (especially groups or private tours) may require an advance payment or agreed deposit.

  • Any required amount is clearly stated during the booking process.

  • Standard payment is cash on the day of the tour (all major currencies accepted).

  • For advance online or card payments, guests will be informed of any bank processing fees.

  • Discovery Outdoor does not store or process card data directly.

 

 

 

 

2. Cancellations, Refunds & No-Shows

 

 

  • Cancellations must be sent via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.

  • Refund rules vary by tour type and will be communicated during booking.

  • If Discovery Outdoor must cancel due to unsafe sea, weather, or operational reasons, guests may choose a new date or a full refund.

  • No-shows on the day of the activity are non-refundable.

 

 

 

 

3. Health & Safety

 

 

  • Basic swimming ability is required for kayaking tours.

  • A moderate fitness level is recommended; the route includes light paddling and optional short walks.

  • Guests must follow the guide’s safety briefing and instructions at all times.

  • We strongly recommend personal travel insurance that covers water sports, outdoor activities, medical care, and cancellations.

  • Some tours may have limits related to age, fitness, weight, or health conditions; these are explained in advance.

 

 

 

 

4. Not Suitable For

 

 

  • Children under 5 years

  • Guests over 120 kg

  • Guests with serious back or shoulder injuries

  • Guests with extremely low fitness levels (especially in hot summer months)

 

 

Specific tours may have additional restrictions.

 

 

 

5. Children Policy

 

 

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Minimum age: 5 years, with fit and confident parents.

  • Teenagers 14+ may join with written parental permission.

 

 

 

 

6. Guest Conduct

 

 

  • Guests must respect nature, equipment, other participants, and local communities.

  • Unsafe, harmful, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the tour without refund.

 

 

 

 

7. Liability

 

 

  • Discovery Outdoor carries all legally required basic insurance for kayak operations in Türkiye.

  • This insurance does not replace the need for personal travel insurance.

  • We are not responsible for loss of personal items, delays, or issues caused by weather, traffic, or external service providers (e.g., restaurants, transfers).

  • Discovery Outdoor is responsible only for incidents caused by proven negligence.

 

 

 

 

8. Data Privacy

 

 

  • Personal data is used only for booking, communication, and operational purposes.

  • Discovery Outdoor does not share guest data without consent.

 

 

 

 

9. Intellectual Property

 

 

  • All photos, text, media, and logos on Sea Kayak Türkiye platforms are owned by Discovery Outdoor.

  • Reuse or reproduction without permission is prohibited.

 

 

 

 

10. Updates to Terms

 

 

  • Discovery Outdoor may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  • Changes will be published on our website.
